PowerX is a Japanese energy technology company that designs, manufactures, and sells large-scale battery energy storage systems, alongside EV charging infrastructure and electricity retail services, from its Okayama factory. Founded in 2021 by Masahiro Ito, the company has become one of Japan’s few domestic manufacturers of grid-scale battery storage, deploying systems at over 100 sites.
